 After many years of trying to project HAODS into the 21st Century, we have at last, gone live on line! This means that you can now book your tickets for our latest show, Raffles of Singapore anytime you like! In fact -24/7! You can check availability and choose your seats and the tickets will be sent to your home - or you can opt to have a text reference sent to your phone! The beauty of online booking is that as it is web based, the records are held "in the clouds" so to speak,so it matters not a jot as to where in the world the box office head office is actually situated. In this case, the on line system is being operated for us bythe Cornish Riviera Box Office, located in St. Austell, Cornwall.
The system will also give us valuable marketing information, including identifying which postcode areas we draw our audiences from and also, interestingly, what time people book, so that we can begin toget a profile of our followers and target our advertising appropriately.
This revelation has been a long time coming and I would like to thank the current committee for sharing my vision and giving the go ahead to make this possible. I would also like to give a big thank you to Andy for hanging in there for so long, to Sandra Moon who has embraced the system wholeheartedly, to newcomer and computer expert, Carlos Miguens for installing the ticket printer and most especially, our webmaster, Dean Beedell who has had all the technical work of it and has made sure that the "look and feel" of the link to our page on the CRBO website truly reflects our own. Now everyone! Start booking your seats!
