| Open Mic Now Open Wide! 13 March 2010 |
| Written by The Chairman | |
Our very first Open Mic night is now really "open" to all comers thanks to the investigative powers of dynamic Daisy O'halloran! HAODS has been trying to secure an annual PRS license to cover the Green Room but " no answer" has been the stern reply despite repeated letter, emails and phone calls by our treasurer, Bryan Villars! If we were unable to obtain a licence, it would mean that only original music could be played on 13th March, which would severely restrict the number of acts that could participate. No one could perform any "covers". However, thanks to the diligent Daisy, who has discovered that we can secure a licence to cover one single event the evening is now open to all comers who perform popular music.
So if you want to sing, tell jokes or generally entertain on the night, all restrictions are now lifted. We can really say that "Daisy pulls it off!"
All budding stars can contact Daisy on 07983333757 or by clicking here:
