Raffles - HAODS get UK Premiere! The presentation on Wednesday, 24 June, by the writers of Raffles of Singapore, the musical about the life of the visionary Sir Stamford Raffles, so impressed the 50 members pressent that they voted unanimously to do it. First performed professionally in Singapore and Hong Kong in 1979, it did not come to the UK then because half the theatres in London went 'dark' in the recession of 1980. We are now contracted to present the first performances in the UK in November 2010.

NEWSFLASH - The new library section is now online, it contains a list of publications related to plays and musicals currently held by the society. Please feel free to view. The library area can be found on the right hand column below 'Stage whispers'.

Welcome to the members area of the new HAODS website. !

Here you will find information specifically aimed at the current membership. You will find detail on current shows, the Chairman's monthly chat, on-line copies of Stage Whispers and other useful member information.

Forbidden Planet has sadly come and gone but we will have some snaps on the site shortly plus some anecdotes. Our new show is shown on the right! Click on the show poster to be taken to the Show page.

If you have any suggestions or contributions to make regarding page content then please contact the Website Editor here.

If you want to make a contribution, perhaps an update to a show in "past productions" or if you want to submit an entirely new article to the site, then please do so. All you need to do is to click here type in your article and then save! the article will be posted for review by the editor and it will shortly appear in the correct location on the site.
